What We Can Do

  • International coordination based on preventing mutually assured catastrophes.
  • Mandate the safety and transparency of AI systems.

Stop AI replacing us economically

  • Make AI subject to the same liability and safety standards as any other consumer product.
  • Build AI that supports human work, not replaces human judgment, dignity, and livelihood. Tax companies creating floods of digital immigrants. Tax human labor hours done in silicon.

Stop AI replacing us socially

  • Ensure people have rights over their face, voice, identity, and data.
  • Avoid humanizing AI, which can simulate empathy, manufacture intimacy, and exploit psychology to drive engagement.
  • All AIs must disclose they are non-human.

Stop AI replacing us politically

  • Prevent power concentration, so the benefits of AI must be shared broadly instead of hoarded at the top: every human gets some ownership of AI companies.
